RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a member of the technology team, the Salesforce Software Developer provides operational systems support required to conduct business and maintain revenue assurance
  • Systems range from the core architecture required to manage the Salesforce instances as well as CloudSense Orchestrator Processes
  • Develop Salesforce community and partner portals; enhance, maintain and modify programs based on architectural requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with Salesforce customization, security controls, creating profiles, roles, users, record types, page layouts and email services is required
  • Experience with SFDC administrative tools such as managing users, data management, domain management, generating reports, dashboards, communication templates, tasks and events is required
  • Experience with creating Salesforce.com Apex triggers on customized objects, writing Apex classes, Apex controllers, test classes and developing Visual Force Pages is required
  • Experience with creating custom objects, custom tabs, custom fields, picklist values, role- based page layouts, workflow alerts and actions, workflow rules and approvals, validation rules, custom reports and report extractions to various formats is required
  • Experience with SFDC MVC architecture is required
  • Experience with Salesforce.com Production, Test and Dev environments is required
  • Experience with SOQL and SOSL queries is required
  • Proficiency in object-oriented concepts and object-oriented programming languages is required
  • Ability to adapt to new software applications and products, self-starter and good knowledge of business work flow is required
  • Ability and desire to work as part of a structured development team which includes Business Owners, Business Analysists, Architects, Developers and Quality Assurance is required
  • Salesforce Certified Developer Dev 401 & Dev 501 level experience required, actual certification preferred
  • Experience with SOAP API and REST API is preferred
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills is preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud functionalities is preferred
  • Experience with MuleSoft or other data integration tools is preferred
  • Experience with relationships between objects like master-detail, lookup, entity relationship, data model etc. is preferred
  • Experience on developing projects under Agile methodology is preferred
  • Experience with GIT and Jenkins for automated deployments is preferred
  • Experience with Java development including related toolsets is preferred
  • Experience in integrating AppExchange applications with Salesforce is preferred. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in IT industry with strong experience as a Salesforce Developer on the Force.com platform.
  • 5+ years of experience on SFDC development in implementing Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce pages, Apex and Visualforce controllers and VF pages development.
  • Data Integration and MuleSoft experience preferred, but not required
